“He probably did search for blonde superheroes”: Logan Paul’s Old Tweet to Play an MCU Superhero Goes Viral as Fans Have a Field Day at WWE Star’s Expense

Before his foray into the wrestling arena and taking on the title of United States Championship in WWE, Logan Paul had ambitions to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Initially gaining recognition through his social media presence and YouTube content, Paul has since expanded his career into acting, and wrestling and has also achieved notable success as an entrepreneur.

And it seems that the social media influencer was seeking a very significant shift in his career, as he expressed his desire to take on the role of a Marvel superhero in the MCU. And fans certainly have a lot to say as the tweet resurfaces following his WWE stardom.

Logan Paul Wanted to Play Quasar in the MCU

After gaining recognition for his comedic content and vlogs in the mid-2010s, Logan Paul extended his career beyond social media, by making several appearances in shows like Law & Order and even headlining a YouTube Red movie, The Thinning.

And it seems the next step he sought in his career trajectory as an actor was joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he expressed in a previous tweet, which has recently resurfaced. Sharing a picture of himself doing a pull-up alongside the Marvel superhero Quasar, he mentioned in the tweet,

“Dear @Marvel, please start writing this movie so I can play Quasar in a couple years.”

While the plans for Quaser or Paul’s entry into the MCU remain unclear, the resurfaced tweet has certainly gained the attention of people and has become the subject of amusement and speculation. As an X (Twitter) user wondered how the WWE star even knew about Quasar, fans started speculating.

“I mean… he probably did search for blonde superheroes, there is a list of before 2017 with Quasar in it,” one X (Twitter) user quipped. Some shared their assumptions that his reported relationship with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet might have prompted him to share the tweet.

However, others expressed concern regarding the idea of seeing him in a Marvel movie. “I’m more worried about him being in a Marvel movie,” said one fan amid several specualtions about Logan Paul’s interest and knowledge about superheroes and comics.

A Marvel Star Questioned Logan Paul’s Contribution to Cinema

Marvel star Daniel Kaluuya questioned Logan Paul’s contribution to cinema after the social media influencer criticized his 2022 sci-fi horror film Nope. The film, starring Kaluuya alongside Keke Palmer was a hit and earned critical acclaim.

Paul, however, had a different opinion as he went on to call it the “worst” film he had seen in a long time. In an X (Twitter) thread, he even questioned several aspects of the movie, criticizing its pacing and Kaluuya’s character as an unremarkable role.

“NOPE” is one of the worst movies I’ve seen in a long time — I love Jordan Peele and Keke Palmer can act her ass off, but this movie is objectively slow and confusing with stretched themes that don’t justify the pace (a thread).”

The Black Panther star later addressed his criticism during an interview with Capital FM. “Why is his opinion top of the tree?” the Oscar-winning actor said. Although he acknowledged that everyone is entitled to have their opinion, the Get Out star also added,

“But what’s he done in cinema? Imagine if they asked me about Eric Clapton. I’d take everyone’s opinion on, I’ll listen to it but I’m just going ‘I don’t know why you over everybody else.’”

However, Nope is not the only film that failed to impress the WWE star. He has also shared that he did not enjoy Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer, arguing that all that happened in an hour-and-a-half-long film was people talking.
