Deadpool Has Wolverine’s Healing Factor

Both the characters have received widespread fan following globally, which was significantly boosted thanks to Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman‘s portrayals as Deadpool and Wolverine respectively.

Both embody a blend of raw power and unyielding determination, which is well evident in their personalities, but their connection goes beyond that.

Born as James Howlett, the legendary Marvel superhero possesses a healing factor (a remarkable regenerative ability) which was amplified when the Weapon X program gave him Adamantium skeleton and claws.

This combination made Logan nearly indestructible, who is capable of recovering from any injury, whether it be a mere scratch or a fatal wound. His healing factor is also present in another character – Deadpool.

Introduced in 1991, the mutant character almost has similar abilities as the former, and the reason will completely surprise anyone. In the comics, when Wade Wilson sought Weapon X’s aid to help him combat terminal cancer, they grafted the former’s healing factor onto his DNA.

Due to that, the Merc with the Mouth manifested his own set of abilities, allowing him to recover from injuries and even survive situations that would be fatal to most others.
