During the interview, Quinn revealed he was most excited to work with actor John Malkovich in The Fantastic Four. He said: He’s one of my all-timers.

However, when Quinn was asked if Malkovich’s role in the movie was villainous, the actor remained silent to avoid any potential spoilers. As a result, Quinn might have confirmed what fans had been suspecting since Malkovich was announced as a part of the cast in May 2024.

Fans have largely presumed that the actor might be playing Doctor Doom or Mole Man in the movie, but Quinn’s recent comments all but confirm that Malkovich will be playing an antagonist. However, Quinn’s excitement to share the screen with Malkovich could also mean that the latter is playing Franklin Storm, the father of Sue and Johnny Storm.
