Fans in Tears Over Meghan Markle’s Painful Letter to Her Parents: Confessions Unveiled

Meghan Markle brought royal fans to tears when she opened up about her childhood struggles in a touching video that has resurfaced, leaving them deeply moved.

During an episode of the Netflix docuseries ‘Harry and Meghan’ she shares with Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex spoke candidly about her longing for a “nuclear family” after her parents divorced when she was six years old.

In a revealing moment from the series, Meghan discusses her family’s breakup and shares a moving poem she wrote about her experiences. Opening up about the impact of her parents’ amicable co-parenting, she revealed: “Even though my parents co-parented well, you think about how that informs what you grow up to be and what you want.”

She reminisced about being 12-years-old at Immaculate Heart, a school in Los Angeles, where she was inspired to write a poem that remains etched in her memory, OK! reports.

Reciting her composition, she shared: “Two houses, two homes, two kitchens, two phones, two couches where I lay, two places that I stay. Moving, moving here and there, from Monday to Friday I’m everywhere.”

Reflecting further, she emotionally added: “Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that bad, but oftentimes it makes me sad. I want to live that nuclear life, with a happy dad and his loving wife.”

Longing for the picture-perfect life, she expressed her wishes: “A picket fence, a shaggy dog, a fireplace with a burning log, but it’s not real, it’s just a dream, I cannot cry or even scream. So here I sit with cat number three, life would be easy if there were two of me.”

The video has captivated audiences on TikTok, swiftly amassing over 7.1 million views and capturing the hearts of some 1.3 million viewers, touched by its poignant message. In the wake of the video, numerous viewers headed to the comments section to pour out their own emotional turmoil and sympathies.

A particularly moved user commented: “I started crying because I know how real this was for me when I was a child.” Joining the conversation, another shared, “This made me cry ’cause this is me.”

Furthermore, someone else posted: “When I saw this for the first time í cried so hard.” The bond with the content ran deep for many, as one person divulged: “I recently separated from my husband and this is killing me. My child is going through this.”

Another anguished individual admitted: “‘Life would be easy if they’re two of me’ [sad face emoji].” Similarly, another person contributed: “As someone with divorced parents this hits my soul.”
