According to the outlet, a source close to production revealed that Bravo wanted his character to be grittier and more like Jeremy Allen White’s character in The Bear, suggesting that was part of the reason for Gabriel’s longer hair in the latest season. The source noted that although Bravo told IndieWire that he tried to voice his concerns but “doesn’t have much liberty on set,” he had allegedly not brought up his concerns to the show’s creator, Darren Star, who would have been open to discussing the matter.
