Taylor Swift was not able to support Travis Kelce during the Kansas City Chiefs’ win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Swift, who recently ended her “Eras Tour” concert series after nearly two years on the road, opted to skip the game in Cleveland just days after she celebrated her 35th birthday.
Swift and Kelce, however, were able to spend some much-needed quality time together on Friday to celebrate the “Fortnight” singer’s milestone birthday. According to a previous report, the couple opted for a private celebration “just them two” as opposed to a big birthday bash.
In a new report by Page Six, the details of the said celebration have now been revealed. Kelce reportedly “showered” his girlfriend with “several special gifts,” which according to a separate report by The U.S. Sun, cost the Chiefs star around $175,000.
“He had his gifts delivered beforehand so they would be a surprise. Everything was decorated beautifully with flowers everywhere,” Page Six’s insider said.
“He had jewelry engraved especially for Taylor, he gave her countless roses and showered her in gifts. Travis went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect.”
Page Six’s insider also went on to reveal that to make their meal extra special, Kelce employed the services of a professional cook.
While both Swift and Kelce have been known for throwing high-profile parties to celebrate their respective birthdays, their low-key event on Friday was a change from their usual styles.
What is clear, though, is that spending time together on Swift’s birthday was the most important thing for both of them as they look forward to potentially taking a big step in their relationship in 2025.
