Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer Subtly Reveals Another Wade Wilson Variant

Deadpool and Wolverine in the Void in Deadpool & Wolverine

A new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer may be teasing another Wade Wilson variant showing up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Phase 5 is about to have one of the biggest MCU installments of all time as Deadpool & Wolverine is releasing in theaters this summer. Not only is Wade teaming up with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, but it will bring Reynolds into the MCU on a full-time basis.

To celebrate #BestFriendsDay, Reynolds debuted a new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer as the movie is a month away from its theatrical release. One of the big highlights in the new footage, however, is the first look at another Deadpool variant, one that many have been wanting to see in the Phase 5 movie. Check it out below.

As the new trailer gives more glimpses of the two heroes in action, it also features an unknown female character in the Deadpool costume. While it is only the legs that are shown, the Deadpool & Wolverine footage may have finally confirmed the arrival of Lady Deadpool in the MCU adventure.

Who Could Be Playing Lady Deadpool In Deadpool & Wolverine?

It Comes Down To Two Likely Contenders.

While time will tell who else could be playing Lady Deadpool as part of the Deadpool & Wolverine cast, there are two very popular theories about the supposed actor portraying her. One of them is none other than Taylor Swift, as there has been a lot of speculation for quite some time that she will be making her MCU debut in the Phase 5 movie. While it has been theorized that Swift could be playing Dazzler, Lady Deadpool has also emerged as a favored candidate for her.

The other actor in mind for Lady Deadpool is Blake Lively, who is also married to Reynolds in real life. As Lively has never appeared in past Deadpool movies, some fans have speculated that they have been wanting to bring her in for the right role. Playing a Deadpool variant would be a fun and huge way to finally feature Lively in the Marvel franchise through Deadpool & Wolverine.

Whether it is Lively or Swift, either one would be fantastic as Lady Deadpool. The bigger surprise would be if Swift and Lively each get to play a Lady Deadpool variant and be featured together in the upcoming Marvel movie. As Deadpool & Wolverine releases next month, the world will know soon enough who the mysterious Deadpool variant is and who is actually playing her.
