The film had an intense opening sequence where Thunderbolt Ross and his forces hunt down Black Widow, who is in hiding after the events of Captain America: Civil War. One of the notable locations that was included in this sequence was Georgia’s Macon Terminal Station. Now, James Gunn’s Superman is set to film in that popular location for one of its scenes.

James Gunn is currently in production of his upcoming Superman film, led by David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan. Gunn is making sure that the film is a great kick-off to the new DCU, and Warner Bros is giving all of its support to the new co-CEO of DC studios so that his vision comes to life. New information about its filming location has been revealed, that will be familiar to Marvel fans.

As per DC Film News, Superman is set to shoot some scenes in the Macon Terminal Station in late May. The location was featured in the opening scene of Scarlet Johansson’s 2021 Black Widow film. While the two franchises are known for their competitive rivalry, one can agree that they sure like to use similar locations for their films.

Details regarding the scenes being filmed there are unknown at the moment. It remains to be seen how Gunn uses the location to elevate his Superman story in the film. Superman flies into theatres on July 11, 2025.

Cruise told Entertainment Tonight that he has been wanting to make a movie with her and admires her commitment and dedication. The actor teased that he is already looking for the perfect project for both of them to star in. He said,

“I’d love to make a movie with her. “I’ve been wanting to make a movie with her. She is enormously talented. So charismatic, versatile. She has great physical ability obviously. I am looking for something with us. It sounds like I’m gonna…”

It will be great to see the two actors on-screen for the first time in an impressive feature with their collaboration. Cruise is currently shooting Mission Impossible 8, and Johansson has been reportedly cast in the new Jurassic World film. It remains to be seen if this potential collaboration comes to fruition soon.
