After getting together in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil and She-Hulk’s relationship status gets an update. Charlie Cox returned as Matt Murdock after leading three seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. As part of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘s cast, Cox got his biggest role as Daredevil since coming back, which included a fan-favorite romance between Matt and Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk. Now, the MCU actress has shared an update on the couple’s status.
At Superhero Comic Con (via @AgentsFandom/Twitter), Tatiana Maslany said that Jennifer Walters and Daredevil could come back together, but She-Hulk is keeping her options open.
Maslany and Cox had great chemistry as their MCU characters, but as it has been reported that Margarita Levieva will play Heather Glenn, Matt Murdock’s new girlfriend in Daredevil: Born Again, She-Hulk and Daredevil’s romance will have to be put on the back burner for now. However, future MCU projects could rekindle the flame.
When She-Hulk And Daredevil Could Meet Again In The MCU
The Romance Could Come Back Soon
While She-Hulk and Daredevil will not be together in Daredevil: Born Again, that does not mean that Jennifer Walters will not appear. Daredevil: Born Again premieres in March 2025. Season 1 of the MCU series will be nine episodes long, which should be enough to feature the return of multiple The Defenders Saga characters, as well as MCU stars. Given their prior connection and the fact that both are superheroes and lawyers, She-Hulk could pop up for one episode to aid Daredevil.
If their MCU reunion does not happen in Daredevil: Born Again, then the most likely project for it to happen would be in one of the next two Avengers films. Given how Avengers 5 will reportedly feature 60+ MCU characters, there is a huge chance that both Cox’s Daredevil and Maslany’s She-Hulk are slated to come back in it. As they are street-level heroes, Daredevil and She-Hulk could be part of the same Avengers team in the movie.
Since Heather Glenn’s death from the comics could be adapted into the MCU, Matt Murdock could be single by the time he meets She-Hulk again in one of the Avengers movies. After working together with her to save the multiverse, the duo could rekindle their flame and start a formal relationship. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law showed how perfectly suited to each other Daredevil and She-Hulk are, and with Maslany saying that Jennifer would be open to hooking up with Matt again, there is a good chance that will happen.
