Dafne Keen wants to continue playing X-23 after Deadpool & Wolverine, and the actress already has a crossover in mind for her possible Marvel Cinematic Universe future. Keen’s take on Laura in 2017’s Logan made her one of the fan-favorite stars of the past decade in superhero movies. At just 20 years old, the actress could be part of many of the MCU’s upcoming films as the franchise gets ready to reboot the X-Men after Avengers: Secret Wars. With the multiverse allowing for exciting crossovers, Keen knows what characters she wants X-23 to meet.

Speaking with ScreenRant at the 52nd Annual Saturn Awards, Dafne Keen wants to see X-23 interact with characters from Captain America: Brave New World. When asked about how the multiverse provides the means for her mutant hero to interact with a wide breadth of Marvel characters and who she wanted X-23 to meet, the star revealed that she was excited to watch Anthony Mackie’s first movie as Captain America, so characters from the film would be fun for an X-23 crossover. Upon being asked about Red Hulk, Keen was open to the idea. Check out the full quote below:

Dafne Keen’s comments are interesting. She mentions Captain America: Brave New World as a movie she is looking forward to watching while not naming a specific character to cross over with X-23. The first MCU film of 2025 happens to be the project that introduces Adamantium to the MCU. The precious metal from the comics is responsible for giving both Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Keen’s X-23 their iconic claws. Due to that connection, X-23 crossing over with Anthony Mackie’s Captain America or someone else involved with that plot would make sense.

Speaking with The Direct at the Saturn Awards, Dafne Keen also teased more MCU crossovers and what she hopes her future in the MCU looks like. According to the actress, she would love to see Laura team up with the Avengers. Keen also commented on MCU reboot rumors after Avengers: Secret Wars. The star would be happy if X-23 got to share the Wolverine mantle with Hugh Jackman’s Logan instead of taking over his role. When it comes to X-23’s MCU future, Keen is down to doing “anything that involves Laura.”
