Chase Stokes is a household name, thanks to his starring role in the hit Netflix series Outer Banks. But instead of resting on his success, he’s expanding his acting range and stepping into a new role as an action star. In his latest film, Valiant One, he plays a military hero. We caught up with Chase on the Monday (2/3/25) edition of the I-95 Morning Show, and this was our favorite moment from the interview.

This is a lifetime for you, being in Outer Banks, the smash-hit that it is, I was wondering, what is your favorite teen coming of age show, 9021 maybe, The OC was a favorite of mine, Dawson’s Creek. Do you have a favorite? 

Chase: “You know I never really got lost in the world’s of One Tree Hill and Dawson’s Creek and all of that. I was kind of a cartoon kid, I was watching SpongeBob. Honestly, the coming of age stuff was Indiana Jones and watching Raiders (of the Lost Ark) on repeat. Kind of the unconventional style of it but in a weird way, I think John B. is the Temu version of “Indy” so it’s been fun to kind of go back and look at some photos running around in the hat versus being a character who is running around chasing these ancient treasures and relics.”
