Daredevil: Born Again will include Marvel Cinematic Universe cameos. After appearing in cameos and supporting roles in other MCU projects, Charlie Cox will finally get to lead his own series at Marvel Studios, with Daredevil: Born Again‘s cast also bringing back many actors from the original Netflix Daredevil series as their characters. Beyond that, it seems like Matt Murdock will have the company of a couple of MCU characters when Daredevil: Born Again season 1 comes out in March 2025.

Speaking to Rotten TomatoesMatt Murdock actor Charlie Cox teased MCU cameos for Daredevil: Born Again.

The star specified that they would not be anything major, not revealing any of the MCU characters who will play a role in Daredevil: Born Again. With the new Daredevil series being set in New York City, there are many characters who could appear for a fun cameo in the MCU TV show. Check out the full quote below:

There’s a couple of fun, small moments of collision, but nothing major. I use that word [collision] when characters get together.”

The first MCU cameo in Daredevil: Born Again has already been confirmed. Yusuf Khan from Disney+’s Ms. Marvel is going to appear in the upcoming series. The character is played by Mohan Kapur and is the father of Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. The cameo was revealed at Marvel Studios’ presentation at D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again was screened for attendees.

Yusuf Khan is protected by Matt Murdock in a scene where the character asks him what kind of lawyer he is, to which Matt answers, “a very good one,” a callback to Cox’s cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While Yusuf will appear in the series, it is unlikely that his daughter will too. Ms. Marvel would fall under the “nothing major” aspect of the show’s cameos Cox mentioned. As such, only small but fun characters like Yusuf are likely to have a chance of appearing.

There are a few MCU characters who could fit the bill. As Daredevil: Born Again will follow the tone of the original series and be very grounded, characters like Tony Dalton’s Swordsman from Hawkeye and/or Eleanor Bishop, who worked with Kingpin and was arrested, could make an appearance. With the show being set in New York, Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds from the MCU Spider-Man movies is another character who could appear, with Ned being somewhat similar in tone to Kamala Khan’s dad. Daredevil: Born Again season 1’s 9 episodes allow time for multiple MCU cameos.
