Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson Teases Her Return For Avengers 5 & 6 And Reacts To RDJ’s Doctor Doom Announcement

Brie Larson as Captain Marvel next to Tony Stark and Doctor Doom

Following the news of Robert Downey Jr. re-joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom, Captain Marvel actor Brie Larson shares her reaction and teases whether she’s in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

During an appearance on The Playlist’s Bingeworthy Podcast, Larson was asked whether or not Carol Danvers will be making her MCU return in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. The MCU star was tight-lipped, but teased that she may know something about Carol’s next film appearance, sharing the following.

I can’t say anything and I can’t even say that I don’t know anything because that might mean that there’s something to say or not say. So I’ll just say that I can’t say.

While Larson wasn’t part of Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the podcast still asked what she thought about Downey Jr. coming back, this time as Marvel villain Doctor Doom. It turns out that Larson had just been with Kevin Feige before the event, with the actor sharing how he had talked about Marvel’s Comic-Con panel before the big Doctor Doom announcement:

I want to be clear. I was just with Kevin [Feige]. It was like that same day and he was like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re doing a thing at Comic-Con.’ He did not say that at all! Not at all!
