XO, Kitty returned to Netflix with Season 2 with a fan-favorite also returning, Noah Centineo. Anna Cathcart opened up about what it was like to work with the actor again
Viewers were excited for XO, Kitty season two, even more after the trailer showed a familiar face.
The new season brought back favorites like Anna Cathcart, Choi Min-young, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, and others. Katherine Song Covey, also known as Kitty, came back to the Korean International School of Seoul after getting kicked out on season one. She finds herself in the center of a new dramatic love triangle that now includes her new roommate.
In Kitty form, she was the center of a lot of the drama, but a familiar face came to the rescue to give her the reassurance she needed, Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo).
Anna spoke on the TODAY show and was asked about working with Noah again. The last time fans saw Noah was in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before films.

Anna said: “It was so exciting. I look up to. him so much and I’ve gotten to learn from him for so many years so to back on screen with him and reestablish our characters dynamic was so special and Noah’s the sweetest.”
Viewers at home were very happy to see Peter back on their screen with Kitty. If it weren’t for Kitty, him and her sister Lara Jean Song Covey (played by Lana Condor) would not have got their happily ever after.
A person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “I love Peter Kavinsky’s return in XO, Kitty as a 30 year old college student who ended up in Korea for, of all things, a lacrosse tournament. no notes.” Another person said: “Seeing peter kavinsky in xo, kitty made me feel so old. wdym im not 14yo anymore.” A third fan added: “Watching peter in XO, Kitty made me miss peter nd lara jean so much I ended up binge watching all 3 movies in one sitting.” A fourth posted: “legit started crying when peter just showed up in xo kitty like.”
The new season of the spin-off even recreated some of Lara Jean’s memorable scenes, but through Kitty.
