Daniel Dubois wants to “put a stop” to the wins Oleksandr Usyk has been chalking up against British fighters, beating one after another and making it look easy. Usyk is 7-0 against the Brits and looks unbeatable right now.
Can Anyone Stop Usyk?
It’s probably not a good idea for Dubois to mess with Usyk because he already lost to him once by a ninth-round knockout on August 26, 2023. Losing a rematch would destroy the momentum he’s gained since that terrible experience.
It would be smarter for Dubois to focus on trying to get a rematch with Anthony Joshua because that’s a winnable one, and it would pay huge money.
IBF heavyweight champion Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) thinks he’s the one that can end the former two-division undisputed champion Usyk’s run of “luck.”

I don’t know why it bothers Dubois so much that Usyk is beating his fellow countrymen because they would lose to other fighters if they were willing to take them on. If you put Joshua or Fury in with Martin Bakole, they’d get whipped just as badly or worse than what Usyk did.
Dubois: The Brits Last Hope?

I want to become undisputed and get all the belts. I’ve got to get through Parker, but I want to become undisputed.
“It was a close fight. In the last couple of rounds, he edged it,” said Dubois about Usyk’s win over Tyson Fury in their rematch on December 21st. “It’ll be a huge fight between me and either of them, Fury or Usyk. That’s my mindset right now.
“I’ve been a contender for a long while. I’m a champion, and I want to move like a champion and take no prisoners. I want to go through Usyk like a train,” said Dubois.
The way Oleksandr dominated ‘The Gypsy King; Tyson Fury last month in their rematch made it clear that he owns fighters from the UK and will continue to beat them until he gets old.
Fury, 36, looked elderly in the rematch with Usyk, and it’s not surprising that he was beaten. The first fight took something out of him, leaving the weathered, worn-looking fighter that Usyk met last month. It was pathetic the spectacle Fury made out of himself, complaining at the post-fight press conference that he won by three rounds. No words describe what a grumpy, poor sport he is.
