Considering The Boys is releasing on Amazon Prime Video’s streaming platform, it drops in a regular time slot each week. Thursday, June 27, and each subsequent Thursday until the series is finished with episode 8 on July 18. The time slot is also set to reflect PST, meaning that each episode arrives on the platform at midnight, first thing each Thursday. For those on the East Coast, that means episode 5 will appear on Prime Video from 3:00 AM EST.
The Boys season 4, episode 4 “Wisdom of the Ages” concluded with Starlight brutally beating Firecracker over a live stream. As a result, episode 5 will need to explore how the public will react to Starlight’s violent and drastic actions. Episode 5 also promises to finally bring back the Gen V characters Sam and Cate, and introduce a terrifying new threat in the form of sheep that have been dosed up on Compound V, according to a trailer which provided a sneak peek at what is coming in The Boys season 4, episode 5.

With The Boys season 4 already halfway through its penultimate series, there are just four episodes remaining. As mentioned above, the final episodes of the series will continue to be released on Amazon Prime Video every Thursday until the final episode drops on July 18. This will conclude season 4, but open the door for the story to continue in Gen V season 2, ahead of the final season.
