The Boys Season 4 Unveils Intriguing Images, Featuring a Captivating Glimpse of Homelander’s Icy Transformation in Action

Homelander on Ice Season 4 of The Boys

Days ahead of the Season 4 premiere of The Boys, new images are providing a sneak peek at the upcoming episodes. However, there’s no context that’s been given to go along with the photos, leaving it up to the fans to speculate on what’s happening.

On X, the official account for The Boys shared a post that included three images. Each photo comes from the first three episodes of Season 4, with the post clarifying that they will all start streaming on June 13. Episodes will then be released one at a time every week thereafter, culminating with the season finale on July 18. The sneak peek photos can be seen below.

The X post stated, “Clearing up the release schedule for anyone askin… First three episodes of Season 4 arrive Thursday, then one per week after that through July 18. Here’s an image from each of the first three with zero added fuckin context.”

A Sneak Peek at Season 4 of The Boys Is Revealed

One photo reveals Homelander (Antony Starr) bearing a big grin as he walks alongside his son, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), who doesn’t look quite so cheerful. Another image sees Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) meeting with Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) in front of what appears to be an abandoned video rental store. The third photo looks to be from an ice show featuring Vought superheroes, featuring an ice skater performing in a Homelander costume.

Though the season will be over next month, the story will continue. Ahead of the show’s return to Prime Video, it was announced that The Boys had already been renewed for Season 5. Additionally, a second season of the spinoff series, Gen V, is also in the works, so there’s even more for fans to look forward to. It remains to be seen when it will all come to an end, though The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has some ideas on how to wrap up the story, whenever that might be. For now, Kripke is refusing to make any predictions about when the show will end.

“You can’t build a show that’s about these two forces of Homelander and Butcher slowly closing in on each other without bringing that to a head,” Kripke told Empire. “Whenever that last episode occurs, I know what happens.”

The first three episodes of The Boys will start streaming on Thursday, June 13, on Prime Video.
