The Boys’ Claudia Doumit shares behind-the-scenes photos in a place “everyone knows” with Homelander

96th Annual Academy Awards – Arrivals

Claudia Doumit is a successful actress best known for her role on the hit Amazon Prime series, The Boys. (Neuman 2024!) Doumit shared a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos of herself and her cast members on Instagram, two weeks ago. She captioned the post, “Season 4 babyyy.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Claudia Doumit stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

She Swims

Doumit likes to swim to stay in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself and her family in a pool in Bali. Better Health states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “As well as being fun, swimming is a great way to keep fit, stay healthy and make friends. Swimming is a healthy activity that you can continue for a lifetime. It is a low-impact activity that has many physical and mental health benefits.”

She’s A Feminist

Doumit is a feminist. After Trump was inaugurated, she shared this photo on Instagram of herself reading We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche. She captioned the post, “Today felt like the right day to give this a read. To all the #nastywomen and #badhombres out there, I highly suggest you read this tiny, but oh so powerful essay.”

She Sought Advice

Doumit opened up about how she got into acting to Collider. She says that she took a lot of advice from other people. “I went to one of the universities and I dicked around in an arts degree for a semester and a half, and then I dropped out, didn’t tell my parents, and started taking acting classes on the side. And then I remember my mom said to me one day, ‘Your schedule’s a bit off.’ And that’s when I told her! I was like, ‘I’m acting. I’ve dropped out of university. I wanna be an actor.’ And she did the best thing a parent could do in that situation. She had a moment of a breakdown, and then she was really supportive and she said to me, ‘Okay, if you want to be serious about acting, let’s be serious about acting. Talk to every person you know, every person you respect in the industry like teachers, mentors, everything and ask their advice,’ and I did.”

Doumit told Collider that her time on Scandal really prepared her for other shows. “It was such a beast of a show and it was just such a moving machine. I mean, I was like Bambi in the woods. I was so very lost. But you really got an insight into how the machine works and how much stuff they get in a day and how many people are used on a project. It was insane to be in that environment because the only thing I’d been exposed to before that really is like a small student film or you’re in a theater production at school. It’s a whole nother world and you have to kind of adjust your lens to that world, and that was my first big dose of that was being on Scandal.”

She Wants To Provide A Safe Space

In an interview with The AU Review, Doumit shared that she wanted her movie, Dylan & Zoey to be a safe space for people who’ve gone through trauma. “I think that’s the beauty of a film like Dylan & Zoey (because) we don’t ever see the traumatic experiences, but we feel their effects throughout two main characters (and) their story.  This film feels like a safe space for trauma.  I think that’s so important.  I wish more filmmakers would address this type of subject matter, or anything traumatic, in this way.  So often I see (films) that lack sensitivity or compassion.  That was the goal with this film, to handle (the subject) with compassion and really make it a space where we can encourage positive conversations around these subjects.”
