Swift attended the big game with her besties, but Lively wasn’t present.
Taylor Swift attended the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, with a group of her best gal pals—Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone were present with the pop star last year and this year, and while Blake Lively was among the group of friends Swift brought out for the big game in 2024, she was nowhere to be found on Super Bowl Sunday this time around.
So why didn’t Lively go to the Super Bowl with Swift? Ahead of the game, a source told Entertainment Tonight the It Ends With Us actress was planning to sit out the event. “Blake is not planning to join Taylor at the Super Bowl this year. They had a blast together last year, but this year Taylor is bringing others along,” the insider said.

With Lively absent, Swift brought the Haim sisters—Alana, Este and Danielle Haim—who attended the big game alongside Jason and Kylie Kelce, and Travis Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna Kelce, and Travis’s close friend, former tight end Ross Travis. The suite Swift and her friends watched the game from, in the word of Travis Kelce, costs “fucking $3 million dollars” he said in an episode of Netflix’s Receiver—though there’s a chance it was even more expensive.

Lively’s lack of attendance doesn’t necessarily spell trouble for her friendship with Swift. The friends were seen as recently as October 2024 going on a double date in New York City to The Corner Store with Ryan Reynolds and Travis. Lively and Reynolds were also spotted in October attending Swift’s Swift’s Eras Tour concert in New Orleans. By January, People reported “there’s been no rift between the singer and actress despite reports of a strained relationship” amid Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
