Snoop Dogg calls SZA & Keke Palmer ‘Black girls rule the world’, new rapper match emerges

noop Dogg has shared his feelings about SZA and Keke Palmer‘s new movie One of Them Days – and it turns out he’s a huge fan.

On Wednesday (January 22), the D-O-double posted a message on Instagram about his reaction to the film.

“Just got back from seeing Just One of Them Days [sic], and it was an exceptional movie,” he began.

He continued: “Shout out to Keke and SZA, Issa [Rae, who produced the film] and the whole cast. Real good movie. We need some good shit right now.

“Black girls rule the world,” he concluded. “Great job.”

You can see the message below.

Palmer, SZA and Issa Rae all recently appeared on an episode of Hot Ones to promote the film. While there, Palmer put SZA in the hot seat over her brief fling with Drake many years back.

“Is Drake a good kisser?” the actress asked flat out, referring to when SZA and Drake briefly dated back when the TDE singer was spending a lot of time in New York during the late 2000s.

“That’s why I said ‘fuck you’ in advance. I knew you were going to do something that was so…” SZA replied.

Laughing, Keke said back: “You have to gag ’em!”

But eventually SZA sort of answered the question, saying, “We were children! We were children! 2009? We were children. Real shit.”

In 2020, Drake dropped a bombshell when he revealed he used to date SZA on 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s “Mr. Right Now.” The topic was all over social media due to both artists being A-listers, but also because the New Jersey singer could have been underage based on Drizzy claiming they were together in 2008.

Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait/Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08/If you cool with it, baby, she can still play,” the Toronto native rhymes.

The Top Dawg Entertainment singer subsequently took to X to confirm their relationship and to clarify that she was over the age of 18.

“So it was actually 2009 lol,” she wrote. “In this case a year of poetic rap license mattered. Lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace.”

She added, “I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening. Completely innocent. Lifetimes ago.”
