Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori made headlines on Sunday when they showed up at the Grammy Awards uninvited to pull a fashion stunt on the red carpet. According to reports, however, Censori was keen on backing out of the stunt, but Kanye wouldn’t let her.

At the 67th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, the disgraced 47-year-old rapper and producer appeared on the red carpet with his fashion designer wife, Bianca Censori, whom he married in 2022.

While on the red carpet, Censori dropped her black fur coat to reveal a fully transparent dress, leading to her posing in her birthday suit. We can’t post it here for obvious reasons but there’s videos of it all over social media.

A new report from The New York Post now indicates the 30-year-old Censori “tried to back out several times” but Kanye refused — “this was totally him and not her.

“She would have much rather worn a pretty dress. She was really nervous and wanted to back out several times, but he didn’t want her to.  When Ye gets something in his head, there’s no talking him out of it. But make no mistake, this was totally him and not her,” a source told The Post.

Censori’s family, who is Australian, provided the following statement to Daily Mail Austrailia about the viral Grammys stunt her daughter was seemingly strong-armed into pulling: “We are just normal people, living our own lives as privately as we can. I have nothing to say about Bianca, thank you,” her mother Alexandra said.

According to reports from The Daily Mail, West’s Grammys stunt looks set to cost him a $20 million payday he would have earned from a pair of planned gigs in at the Tokyo Dome in May.

“Kanye is just f—— up every opportunity that comes to him. The stunt was creepy beyond belief and has been greeted with horror in Japan,” the source said.

“Japan is having a cultural awakening about women’s rights and the MeToo movement is really strong here. What he did is being seen as an act of coercive control which is utterly unacceptable. He has completely culturally misjudged Japan,” they added.

Given Kanye’s erratic personality and Censori seemingly never saying a word and always having a thousand-yard-stare on her face, there’s always been questions about what exactly is going on between the pair, with that speculation surely only being amplified following this latest event.
