She Has the Perfect Face for a Female Villain”: Jack Quaid’s Love Interest in ‘The Boys’ Could Portray a Compelling Batman Villain, But James Gunn Might Not Take the Risk

Jack Quaid, James Gunn

In the ever-evolving landscape of entertainment, where familiar faces often dominate the screen, Eric Kripke’s The Boys is an exceptionWith a bold storyline, embedded with dark humor as well as, gory and unhinged action sequences, offering a fresher perspective on heroism, and individuals with superpowers. The R-rated show has featured an outstanding cast, who takes great pleasure in entertaining their fans.

The Boys have become a fan-favorite show

One such cast member is Claudia Doumit, she joined the show in Season 2 as Victoria Neuman, a Supe in disguise. Though not a part of the original cast Doumit soon became a fan-favorite character.

Moreover, one of her fans has pointed out that her facial structure might just be perfect to play an iconic villain in the Batman universe. However, James Gunn should be quite careful because he might just repeat the same mistake as Christopher Nolan.

The Boys’ Fans Point Out Claudia Doumit Has The Perfect Villain Face

While this may come as a shock to a ton of fans, Claudia Doumit is the real-life love interest of Jack Quaid who is also a part of the show, renowned for portraying the role of Hughie Campbell. The couple have been dating for two years.

Doumit’s portrayal of Victoria Neuman became an instant favorite for the audience because of her compelling duality. When she was first featured in the 2nd season, Neuman appeared to be a dedicated Congresswoman with an intense passion for reforming society.

However, everyone was taken aback, when they learned that her character had a much darker and manipulative side to her. Her acting prowess has added to the show’s popularity and kept the audience hooked to the show.

Numerous fans believe that her ability to deliver striking dialogues with intense emotions is the secret to her character’s fan following. Moreover, as the plot of Eric Kripke’s The Boys progresses, her villainous persona gets unveiled, especially with her facial expression.

A fan (@_TheRealRobin_) took to social media to share how they would love to see the Timeless actress in the role of Talia al Ghul in James Gunn’s DC Universe. The DC fans quickly assembled as they all agreed with the fan casting and would love to see her playing the role of Talia al Ghul.

Indeed, Claudia Doumit is a great actress, who can bring out the character complexities of Talia al Ghul effortlessly. To make matters, even better everyone approves of the fan casting, but it would be a terrible idea because Christopher Nolan had tried and was criticized for it in his The Dark Knight Trilogy.

James Gunn Should Not Be Tempted To Cast Claudia Doumit as Talia al Ghul in His DCU

Christian Bale’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, directed by Christopher Nolan, is considered to be one of the greatest superhero trilogies ever made. However, some ardent fans of the franchise have pointed out how the Oppenheimer director has whitewashed the characters in the Batman universe.

Talia al Ghul makes her on-screen debut in The Dark Knight Rises, she is the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, portrayed by the white French actress Marion Cotillard. Though the portrayal of the character was flawless, the problem here is that in the comics, she appears to be someone from the Middle East.

Moreover, James Gunn should not repeat the same mistake as Nolan, despite Claudia Doumit being an outstanding actress, her country of origin is Australia. Furthermore, getting criticized by the fans would be the last thing Gunn would want in his rebooted DCU.

The Dark Knight Rises can be streamed on Max.
