After a fantastic season 2, XO, Kitty — one of Netflix’s most-watched shows — has left fans hoping for a season 3. Here’s everything we know about a probable third season of this spin-off of the critically acclaimed To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film trilogy.
Spoilers ahead!
XO, Kitty season 2 premiered worldwide on Netflix on 16 January 2025 to much appreciation from fans and critics alike. Throughout the eight-episode teen romance drama, fans are introduced to several plot twists, unexpected heartbreaks and Kitty’s (played by Anna Cathcart) return to Korea.
Eventually, in what fans are calling a “wholesome ending”, viewers saw Kitty finally succeed in reuniting her halmoni (played by Han Ae-yon) with her elder sister Soon Ja (played by Jung Hye-sun) in Korea. Additionally, Kitty also accepts her feelings for Min-ho (played by Lee Sang-heon).

However, with the season 2 finale laying the foundation for a deeper relationship between Min-ho and Kitty, fans are hopeful that the makers will offer a third outing to the Netflix original.
“I would love to see Kitty continuing to explore who she is and figure out what that means to her,” lead actor Cathcart shared while talking about a probable plot for season 3, in an interview with Deadline.
She continued, “She’s constantly dealing with this struggle between being herself and following her crazy heart without causing drama and too much chaos. Following her journey of being a messy, loving person is what makes the show so exciting, to see someone who I think we can all relate to that experience in some sense of not knowing what to do with your big heart… I hope she never lets go of that trait because it’s something I really love about her.”
