According to FlixPatrol, Reacher is currently ranked at number 9 in the United States on Prime Video’s streaming charts. It shows the huge popularity of the action series, but also Amazon’s dedication to promoting it ahead of its third season. There have been promotional spots, trailers, cast interviews, and an onslaught of social media activity, making people aware that the juggernaut that is Jack Reacher is coming back. The same applied to Prime Video’s Cross leading up to its release back in October 2024.

Fans have waited patiently for Jack Reacher’s return, and it is now under two weeks until the man mountain returns to Prime Video, to investigate another case in eight more action-packed episodes. After the 110th Special Investigators defeated season 2’s villain, Shane Langston, the former military cops disbanded and Reacher went on to pastures new. The self-professed loner will return to being more of a solo player in Reacher season 3 as he is set to go undercover to investigate a drug trafficker called Zachary Peck (played by Anthony Michael Hall). Of course, Reacher always needs some help, and Frances Neagley will return in a recurring role, before her character features in her own spin-off series.

Turns out, Reacher will probably have a love interest in the upcoming season, and this time it’s a DEA agent called Sarah Duffy (played by Sonya Cassidy). Reacher season 3 is based on Lee Child’s epic book, Persuader, and it features a brutal battle with a new big villain called Paulie. Olivier Richters will play the famous role from the book. It looks set to be an epic battle with Reacher, as Richters is 7 foot 2 inches tall, and a bodybuilder, who goes by the nickname ‘The Dutch Giant’. The trailer for season 3 features a tease of their big battle, and it looks like Reacher has finally met his match.
