Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy has cheerily announced the arrival of her second child, sharing a heart-warming photo of her newborn daughter on Instagram.

Davy, 38, uploaded a photo to the social media platform celebrating the birth of her daughter Chloe with husband Sam Cutmore-Scott.

The arrival of Chloe marks the married couple’s second child and Ms Davy’s first Instagram post since revealing she gave birth to their first child.

Davy and Cutmore-Scott are famously private, and very few people were aware they were expecting either children.

Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend from 2004 to 2011 also announced her latest collection in her Aya jewellery line named after her daughter.

The Duke of Sussex has referred to Davy as “the best thing that’s ever happened to me” during their on-again-off-again relationship.

She first met Harry in Cape Town, Africa in 2004, when the Duke was on a gap year before he joined the Army.

The Zimbabwean-born businesswoman, who is the daughter of affluent businessman and billionaire Charles Davy, was his first serious relationship.

However, the couple struggled with intense media attention.

In a 2016 interview with The Times, Davy described the media attention on their relationship as “scary”.

“It was so full-on, crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope,” she said.

She parted ways with Harry in 2010.

In 2016, she told The Sunday Times in she “will always be good friends” with the Duke, and he invited her to his 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle.

Davy also attended Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank the same year.
