Prince Harry gave Meghan a $3,600 Valentine’s gift, her attitude when opening the gift was shocking

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have bought a lot of thoughtful gifts for one another and Valentine’s Day is no different, with the Duke of Sussex treating his wife

Prince Harry knows just what to get when it comes to picking out gifts for his wife Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex has given Meghan a number of special presents over the years, including a painting of them holding hands and a car inspired by their favorite film. He even bought a pair of earrings from one of Meghan’s favorite jewelry shops for Valentine’s Day last year.

California-based jewelers Maya Brenner has been a firm-favorite of Meghan’s for years, with the former Suits star owning a necklace from the brand with dainty ‘H’ and ‘M’ initials. The company confirmed Harry’s Valentine’s Day purchase and revealed just how much he spent on the gift.

The Duke of Sussex splashed a whopping $3,600 on Diamond Cascade earrings from Maya Brenner, the company confirmed to Hello! Magazine.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have recently been showing off their adoration for one another at the Invictus Games in Canada. It might therefore be surprising for fans to learn they will be spending this Valentine’s Day alone.

Meghan left her husband in Canada on Tuesday as she headed back to their home in Montecito, California. It’s believed she flew back to America to be with their two children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Meghan spent five days at the Invictus Games in Vancouver, arriving with Harry on Friday. The couple’s travel plans had been kept under wraps for security reasons, but it’s believed she had always planned to leave early.

While Meghan will no doubt be excited to reunite with her children, she will likely be disappointed not to be spending Valentine’s Day with her husband. She previously wrote about her love for the day on her blog The Tig.

“Hook, line and sinker, I am such a sucker for Valentine’s Day. Without fail, every February 14th, I wake up feeling like I’m immersed in a Robert Doisneau photo, waiting with bated breath to be dipped into a kiss,” she wrote in a resurfaced post.

Meghan continued, “This is all happening in black and white, of course. And in Paris, if I had my way. But delusions of francophile grandeur aside, Valentine’s Day is special wherever you happen to find yourself.”
