Out of money world tour 2025! Eminem had to sell his Childhood Home to get money to do it, what’s going on

Eminem's house for sale - for $1!

Eminem’s childhood home has been auctioned for as little as $1, 12 years after the rapper’s family moved out without paying property taxes.

The rapper of the hit “Not Afraid” grew up in a house that was also used for the cover of the album “Marshall Mathers LP”. The house is located east of Detroit and is one of 12 abandoned properties in the area.

According to Detroit officials and the Michigan bank, the house was bought by Eminem’s mother for $20 and she agreed to pay him $3000 down and $220 a month.

Seven years later, Eminem left it in the hands of Ann Investment, which left the house abandoned without a tenant and thus accumulated property taxes that caused the house to be put up for auction.

“It’s sad to see things like this, especially when you’ve made it successful. We need people like him to get the house back under our control, the people of Detroit. We call on him to buy the house”, said Rhonda Broën, a resident of Detroit who called on Eminem to buy the property. /Telegraph/
