When Kitty Song Covey’s best friend, Q, called her a “chaos queen,” he wasn’t kidding. Lara Jean’s little sister got caught up in a few messes this season on XO, Kitty, including multiple love interests and breakups, a public scandal, a scammer’s plot for revenge, and even a K-pop talent show. Can the teenage matchmaker ever catch a break?

Somehow, Kitty emerges at the end of season 2 still standing, if not a little romantically confused (are we Team Yuri or Team Min Ho?). But on the bright side, she was able to help heal some familial wounds—and even got a surprise visit from Peter Kavinsky. There’s still plenty of places the To All the Boys spin-off could go, if Netflix chooses to move forward with another season. Here’s what we know so far.

Has XO, Kitty been renewed for season 3?

Netflix hasn’t made any official announcements yet, but we’ll stay tuned. Considering the way season 2 ended (more on that below), we’re starting to see where the series could head next.

If Netflix confirms a renewal, we’re hoping to see these faces again based on how things left off in season 2: Anna Cathcart (Kitty), Minyeong Choi (Dae), Gia Kim (Yuri), Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), Anthony Keyvan (Q), Regan Aliyah (Juliana), Peter Thurnwald (Alex), Jocelyn Shelfo (Madison), Michael K. Lee (Professor Lee), Sasha Bhasin (Praveena), and Joshua Lee (Jin).

It’s unclear if we’ll see Audrey Huynh (Stella) again, given Stella’s awkward season 2 ending. Same goes for Philippe Lee, who plays Min Ho’s dad, Mr. Moon, or his superstar son, Jin Ho, played by IRL K-pop star Peniel.

The streamer has yet to announce any new casting additions.

What would season 3 be about?

(Warning: spoilers!) The season 2 finale drops a few hints. The final scene shows Kitty just shy of professing her feelings for Min Ho. They embrace just as he’s about to join his dad and brother, pop star Joon Ho, on his summer tour. But instead of parting ways, Kitty asks to tag along: “Can I join you?” she calls after Min Ho. He responds with a suave nod. It seems season 3 could follow their adventure on the road touring together—how fun would that be? (It could also be a great opportunity for more K-pop cameos…)

There’s also some looming drama between Dae and Yuri. Dae’s father, who was injured in a car accident at work, is now in a class action lawsuit against his employer, the Han Group—which is owned by Yuri’s father. While the lawsuit could result in Dae’s family being compensated for his father’s injury, it spells a lot of trouble for Yuri’s family.

And of course, there’s the question of where Kitty’s heart lies. Will touring with Min Ho lead them into relationship territory, or will she somehow end up back in Yuri’s arms? More importantly, what else can Kitty learn about her late mother?
