Meghan Markle’s ex-husband has been offered a lucrative deal to publish a bombshell memoir, according to a royal author.
Trevor Engelson and Meghan were married for three years before they got divorced in 2014.
They began dating in 2004 and got married in Jamaica in August 2011.
Engelson and Meghan have both married other people since their relationship ended.
The Duchess of Sussex married Prince Harry at Windsor Castle in 2018 while Engelson married Tracey Kurland in 2019.
Despite Engelson having moved on from Meghan, it has been reported that agents have offered the film producer lucrative contracts to write a bombshell memoir regarding his life and his relationship with the royal.
Royal author Neil Sean told New! magazine that Engleson has been offered “big deals and big money” for the memoir.
A source told Women’s Day magazine: “Everyone knows there’s more to her family story and Trevor’s got the goods.”
Meghan Markle’s husband Prince Harry released his explosive autobiography Spare in January 2023.
The Duke of Sussex’s memoir contained multiple public attacks on his family, including King Charles and Prince William.
Harry also fired digs at The Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla in his book.
Meghan Markle did not appear alongside Prince Harry during TV interviews to promote his autobiography.
The possibility of the Duchess of Sussex writing a memoir has also been mooted in the past.
Meghan and Harry stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020.
The couple released the self-titled docu-series Harry and Meghan on Netflix in December 2022.
Despite mixed reviews the series was a streaming success and shattered multiple records on Netflix.
