They’re going on an adventure!
The Rings of Power season 2 – Official Teaser Trailer (Prime Video)
by Digital Spy GB
Lord of the Rings stars Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan’s new travel series has been teased in a newly-released trailer.
The pair – best known for playing Hobbits Pippin and Merry in the movie trilogy – are fronting Billy and Dom Eat the World, which sees them adventure to six locations across the world and discover local food and secrets.
In the first trailer (which you can watch here), Boyd and Monaghan reunite with Lord of the Rings co-star Ian McKellen as they take a trip to his London pub, the Gandalf actor admitting he would “confuse the two of you” when working on the movies.

The clip then gives a teaser of some of the other locations that the pair explore, including Japan and the Outer Hebrides, as they dive into some delicious-looking dishes.
“What better way to find out about the culture than through the food that they eat?” Boyd explains.
The show was first announced early last year, and has its roots in the pair’s podcast series The Friendship Onion.
“The podcast folded, but Billy and I had said right from the start that if we could find something in the podcast that we could build out into a show, we would,” Monaghan recently told Deadline of the concept.

“One of our favourite ways to get to know a city is to check out a local restaurant. Myself, Billy, Elijah Wood and Sean Astin go to conventions very often, and one of the things we do over these weekends is pick a restaurant, and go and eat.”
Boyd added: “If you ask someone to bring you something from their childhood or their country, it opens a door to conversation. We felt food is a great in to finding out about people and communities.”
The star also admitted that because the two know each other so well, it “becomes an easy thing to do”, expressing hope that the show goes on for multiple seasons.
Billy and Dom Eat the World is yet to confirm a release date.
