Jurassic World Rebirth, the fourth film in the Jurassic World series, has unveiled its first look at lead stars Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey.
The sci-fi action franchise will return next year with a brand-new piece of dinosaur mayhem, with the story set five years after the events of the previous instalment, 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion.
Ahead of its release, the social media channels for the franchise have shared the first images of its two lead stars – who play Zora Bennett and Dr Henry Loomis, respectively – as they crouch in the long grass.

Also included in the post was a photo of Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid, a colleague of Johansson’s character. The photo shows the covert operations officer looking panicked, with a red flare being let off for good measure.
Marking the seventh overall film in the franchise, the logline for Jurassic World Rebirth reads (via Variety): “Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived.
“The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind. Skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett is contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs.
“When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic reptiles, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades.”
In addition to the aforementioned trio, the cast for Jurassic World Rebirth includes Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise and David Iacono, with Gareth Edwards – best known for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Creator – on directing duties.
Jurassic World Rebirth is scheduled to be released in cinemas on July 2, 2025.
