Some people took the posts seriously, with comments saying, “You go Jason she’s not country,” and, “He doesn’t give a damn about Beyonce or money.”
The story originates from a satire site, however.
One of the earliest posts, opens new tab was published on a Facebook page linked to the satire website Latherland, opens new tab , a subsidiary of America’s Last Line of Defense, opens new tab (ALLOD). “Latherland.com is a subsidiary of the ‘America’s Last Line of Defense’ network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery, or as Snopes called it before they lost their war on satire: Junk News,” the “ About Us, opens new tab ” section of the website says.
Reuters previously addressed narratives shared by Latherland and ALLOD , including one about Aldean turning down a $20 million offer to work with Be yoncé on her country album Cowboy Carter , released in March 2024.

There are no credible reports that Aldean was offered money to perform with Be yoncé.

A representative for Jay-Z said in an email that the claim is “not true.” Representatives for Aldean and Be yoncé did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
