“Italian or French men” Gino D’Acampo’s humiliating moment in ITV’s latest show with female dancer

UNDER-fire Gino D’Acampo was hit with an official complaint while shooting his latest ITV show — for suggesting a threesome with a female dancer.

Video obtained by The Sun also shows the chef, filming with co-host Fred Sirieix repeatedly asking if she “prefers Italian or French” men — despite her stressing she has a boyfriend.

Italian dad of three D’Acampo, 48, and Frenchman Fred were in Austria for their show Emissions Impossible, looking at how to live a healthier, greener life.

But the first attempt was put on ice as allegations surfaced while some crew claimed they had to have counselling.

ITV bosses have since pulled all D’Acampo’s shows, with dozens of women complaining about his behaviour.

Yesterday The Sun told how he was branded “crude and vile” for sexual remarks about TV’s Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.

He has so far “firmly denied” all allegations.

The October 2023 footage from Innsbruck focuses on a traditional Schuhplattler dance trio — the woman, her boyfriend and a second man — and their bum and thigh-slapping routine.

D’Acampo appears to boast to the men: “We are lovers, not fighters.

“I can get your girls without even moving a finger.

“I could court the girl without even moving.”

He says to the second man: “So you’re always crying?”

Gino D’Acampo scandal deepens as it’s revealed he made ‘vile’ sex slurs about Holly Willoughby – but ITV ‘ignored’ it
Simulating pleasuring himself, he adds: “By yourself. No girl.”

Referring to the slapping, he tells the boyfriend: “I think this is very kinky what you do — you’re a pervert.”

Holding what looks like a pint of beer, D’Acampo suggests he and Fred give dancing a try and asks: “Can we do it drunk? Yes? Well that’s OK then, we’re covered.”

Later he and Fred replaced the two Austrian men for their own comedy version.

During their performance, which is delivered to a bewildered- looking audience, D’Acampo is seen lifting Fred over his shoulders upside down, and pretending to slap him repeatedly in the genitals.

At the end, as the woman is stood between the two stars, D’Acampo is heard saying to her: “Why don’t you just have a threesome.”

She firmly replies: “Uh, no.”

He then addresses the audience and asks: “Everybody happy?”

The woman replies: “Not me.”

After the awkward exchanges, it is understood the family-based dance company complained to production company Betty.

A production crew member on Emissions Impossible said: “The show was subject to a number of complaints from contributors and crew. These were escalated to ITV when filming was halted after a week on location in Austria.

“This was supposedly due to Gino’s ill health.

“But there were already concerns about his behaviour when the shoot was pulled.

“As part of this show Gino and Fred were going to watch them rehearse, before joining them on stage for a performance in front of the audience.

“The scene was obviously chosen for its comical nature, but Gino was briefed beforehand to be respectful.

After the incident, ITV and the production company carried out a review of their duty of care protocols.

Once new measures were put in place, they pressed ahead and completed making the show at the second attempt in June of last year, and it aired in December.

However the section containing D’Acampo’s lewd chat with the young woman did not feature in the final edit.

Neither did the “comedy” dance, nor another section in which D’Acampo is heard having a conversation with one of the performers trying to help the show’s two presenters with their choreography.

He snaps at him: “Do you think that I really give a f*** about the dance?”

ITV is now coming under increasing pressure to explain what it knew of D’Acampo’s behaviour — some of which dates back years — and why no action was taken further.

ITV and production company Objective, which now owns Betty, were approached for comment.

ITV bosses have ruled out an investigation into Gino insisting lessons were learned following the Phillip Schofield scandal.

Critics want the broadcaster to explain what it knew and when — and why no action was taken.

But sources said the review into Schofield’s affair with a young runner on This Morning identified wider cultural failures which have now been addressed.

A Gino complainant said: “I’m appalled and flabbergasted, but not surprised. They continue to prioritise and defend what makes them money ahead of a responsibility to the public.”

A senior ITV insider said: “There would be no point in holding an investigation for it to identify the same issues that have since been addressed.”

ITV has axed repeats of Gino shows. He denies the claims.
