Eminem’s Dating History: Ex-Wife, Rumored Girlfriends

Eminem may not be a loverboy, but the rapper has never denied his love for now ex-wife Kimberly “Kim” Scott. The pair were married twice, however, Kim hasn’t been the only woman in his life. That may have been the only relationship that Eminem publicly claimed, however, he has a rumored dating history full of divas.

In 2017, the 8 Mile actor gave a glimpse into how “tough” dating is during an interview with Vulture. “Since my [2006] divorce, I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public. Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.”

KIM SCOTT

“I met her the day she got out of the youth home,” Eminem told Rolling Stone in 2004 of Kim, who ran away from her parents with late twin sister Dawn Scott.

“I was at a friend’s house, and his sister was friends with her, but she hadn’t seen Kim in a while ’cause she was in the youth home,” he recalled. “And I’m standing on the table with my shirt off, on top of their coffee table with a Kangol on, mocking the words to LL Cool J’s ‘I’m Bad.’ And I turn around and she’s at the door. Her friend hands her a cigarette.”

Eminem and Kim welcomed daughter Hailie Jade Mathers in December 1995 and tied the knot four years later. They called it quits two years later but maintained an amicable and close relationship with each other for their daughter.

The “Mockingbird” artist also adopted Kim’s biological daughter Stevie and niece Alaina Marie Scott.

Eminem and Kim said “I do” once again in 2006 but divorced later that year.

MARIAH CAREY

Eminem claimed to have dated Mariah in 2001, but the “We Belong Together” singer has since denied ever having a romantic relationship with him.

The following year, Eminem mentioned Mariah in the songs “When the Music Stops” and “Superman.”

“Yes, me and Mariah did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months. It didn’t work. I wasn’t really into what she was into; our personalities collided,” Eminem said in 2006. “She’s a diva, and I’m a little more regular, I guess.”

Eminem and the Clueless actress were the perfect onscreen match in the 2002 film 8 Mile. Fans quickly wanted to believe that something romantic was going on between them. However, neither of the stars ever confirmed dating.

“I’m a fan … I think that he’s very misunderstood. He’s brilliant. He’s a brilliant young man,” the late actress previously said. “Marshall is … he’s one of the most funny, honest, professional, hard-working actors I’ve ever worked with, if not the most. There was a beautiful sense of everyone getting to know each other.”
