Believe it or not, Sang Heon Lee is just 28 years old and was 26 as Min Ho in the first season of XO Kitty. His birthday is the 21st May 1996 making him a Gen Z Gemini – name a better combination than that!

He grew up in Hong Kong
Sang Heon Lee revealed on a podcast that he grew up in Hong Kong and only moved to the UK to attend uni here. His father worked in the construction industry there.
He went to the University of Northampton
That’s right, Sang Heon Lee was educated in our very own University of Northampton. At uni, he studied Drama.
He also revealed that he learnt to cook after watching Gordon Ramsay cooking videos on YouTube, which is an absolutely wild choice. I thought people only watched Gordon Ramsay to laugh, not to actually learn how to cook?!
After graduating, he went to South Korea to do his military duty for two years
If you didn’t know, conscription in South Korea requires male citizens between the age of 18 and 28 to perform compulsory military service. It’s one of the reasons BTS is currently on a hiatus. Sang Heon Lee did this straight after graduating university from 2016-2018.
His first acting role was in XO Kitty
Yup, Sang Heon Lee revealed that being cast as Min Ho was his first-ever role, which is just crazy. He told TV Guide that he hadn’t even auditioned for anything else before that. It’s like the role was meant for him!
He has an older sister who was also in XO, Kitty
You might not have known this but Sang Heon Lee has a sister who stars alongside Min Ho in XO Kitty season one. Gia Kim plays Yuri (Dae’s fake girlfriend) in XO Kitty, which is actually wild.
