Netflix is bringing back a hit drama this week, although not everyone is pleased with what’s been teased so far.

Netflix viewers are ready for a heart-warming drama to return to the small screen with just a matter of days until its debut.

Along with the likes of Gilmore Girls, Bridgerton and Virgin River, Sweet Magnolias is among the most beloved feel-good series on the streamer with fans delighted to see it return.

It’s been more than a year since Sweet Magnolias was last seen for season three with the fourth series making its debut this week on Thursday, February 6, on Netflix.

As always, season four is going to consist of 10 episodes with the entire box set coming out in one go so subscribers can binge-watch as soon as it’s released.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans have been expressing their excitement for the drama’s return.

“I can’t believe this show is airing on Feb. 6th!! I’m excited!”, one fan wrote.

Another emotionally commented: “The trailer has sent me. I can’t imagine the state I’ll be in when the season starts.”

A third stated: “I really enjoy this show its one of the best!”, while a fellow subscriber simply added: “So excited, can’t wait”.

However, some fans are not happy with the build-up to season four coming out as there has been little to no sign of fan-favourite will-they-won’t-they couple Ty Townsend (played by Carson Rowland) and Annie Sullivan (Anneliese Judge), often referred to as ‘Tyannie’.

At the end of season three, Ty shares that he won’t be going to college but instead taking a gap year.

And while their romance isn’t confirmed by the finale, he and Annie are seen holding hands privately, indicating love could soon be in the air.

Sharing their frustrations on X, a fan remarked: “Only 4 days left but still no Tyannie”, with someone else writing: “Waiting here until tyannie pictures”.

Another user said: “Can we some Tyannie content today for s4?”, with someone posting a sad GIF along with the comment: “Still waiting for Tyannie”.

As of yet, it isn’t clear just how much Ty will appear in the new episodes as Rowland is only listed for one episode of season four on his IMDb page.

The 27-year-old has been busy working on the upcoming film The Queen’s Jewels which is currently in production, so could this mean fewer beloved Tyannie moments this time around?
