A first look for Gen V season 2 has been revealed, hinting at what’s to come for The Boys spinoff show as its story remains under wraps. Gen V season 1 ended with Marie and her friends stopping Sam and Cate’s Supe uprising at Godolkin University, leading to the show’s main character getting zapped by Homelander’s heat vision. However, she and her friends wind up inside a room without any doors, trapped by an unknown force. It’s currently unclear what happened, and what this means for the story of season 2.
Now, Gen V has released a new image from season 2, showing a new look for Marie while still keeping the story hidden.
The image shows Marie smiling, wearing her hair a different way than usual while wearing a Godolkin sweatshirt. She appears to be in some kind of classroom setting, although it’s unknown what this means for her and her friends moving forward.
Where Are Marie & Her Friends In Gen V Season 2?
Their Location Remains A Mystery

The new image of Marie indicates something strange is going on, as her sweatshirt coupled with a classroom setting implies she’s back at Godolkin.
Gen V season 2 will no doubt answer what happened to Marie and the rest of the Godolkin students, revealing why they’re in hospital beds in a room they seemingly can’t escape from. The Boys season 4 actually hinted at them being stuck somewhere dark and hidden, perhaps meaning the information is something characters from the show already know. The new episodes will have to explain this by revealing where they are and what happened to them, something that can set the stage for the upcoming stories.
The new image of Marie indicates something strange is going on, as her sweatshirt coupled with a classroom setting implies she’s back at Godolkin. However, this can’t be a flashback since season 1 already followed her entire history at the school, which didn’t include her changing her hair. Because of this, it’s possible someone with powers like Cate is going to be messing with their minds in season 2, making for an unpredictable beginning to the new batch of episodes.
But, in addition to the main story, the characters in Gen V will need to address the absence of Chance Perdomo, who tragically died in a motorcycle crash earlier this year. Since his role as Andre will not be recast, there will no doubt be a layer of grief and healing within the show when it comes back. This new picture could even be a reflection of this, as the new setting reveals more about what’s really going on in The Boys spinoff moving forward.
