Eminem’s latest album debuted on the U.K. charts last week, and it’s still going strong. The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) rules the ranking of the most-consumed full-lengths for a second consecutive stint, and as it does, the rapper earns a new hit in the country.

“Brand New Dance” is, well, brand new to the U.K. songs chart. The tune launches at No. 38 this week, adding to Eminem’s growing list of smashes in the nation.

As his recently-released tune debuts, Eminem nabs his milestone fiftieth top 40 hit in the U.K. He’s added to that collection several times in 2024 alone, with “Brand New Dance” being the latest in a string of new wins.

The Official Charts Company–essentially the U.K.’s Billboard–has a rule that states that every musician may only claim three spots on the songs ranking at a time, at least as a lead act. So, sometimes, with major stars like Eminem, when one album cut becomes more popular than another, they trade one win for a different one.

“Brand New Dance” replaces “Renaissance,” which is forced off the weekly ranking. Last frame, that track debuted at No. 13, and it landed as the lowest-ranking of Eminem’s trio of hits as his album arrived at No. 1.

This week, Eminem once again fills three spaces on the U.K. songs chart, but only “Brand New Dance” is new to the tally. “Houdini,” the lead single from The Death of Slim Shady, is down from No. 4 to No. 6. It previously ruled the list, helping the hip-hop sensation improve his total count of winners.

Eminem’s second-highest-ranking track this frame in the U.K. sits just a few spaces above his new placement. “Habits,” a collaboration with White Gold, falls significantly in its second turn on the tally. The tune dips from No. 11, where it launched a week ago, to No. 36.
