The rapper announced his new single and teases the end of his sensational career
On Friday, May 31st, Eminem will release Houdini, a track from his new album with which he will once again place himself at the top of the rap game, but could it be his final ever production as the all-time great hints at an end to his musical career
Considered one of the best in the music industry, the artist has been racking up great hits for decades, but the end of his career could be closer than ever. At 51 years old, Eminem has managed to place each of his works among the best-selling of the year, in addition to holding several records with his lyrics.

But in his latest Instagram post, he used the title of his new album to throw a wink at his fans and increase the tension around his future. Eminem collaborates with magician David Blaine and seems to ask him for help with something.
“I was wondering, how far can we go with this magic?,” Eminem asks Blaine. “Can we do a trick or something?
“Well, for my last trick, I’ll make my career disappear.”
It won’t be Eminem’s first “retirement” from one of his personas
Now, it could be time to say goodbye, this time for good to Eminem as an active artist and, therefore, say goodbye to one of the most important rappers in the history of music.
But he’s a serious guy on the topic of quitting as he’s previously sated. The Oscar-winning icon did something similar when he said goodbye to his alter ego, Slim Shady.
“The audience was soon exposed to the extreme darkness of the muse/rapper,” Eminem said at the time. “As he led millions of music fans down a path that glorified a demonstrably nihilistic worldview.
“His complex and tortured existence has come to an end and the legacy he leaves behind is no closer to a resolution than the way this character departed this world.”
