During one of Eminem’s recent interviews, he opened up about how he felt about collaborating with Fifty on a full album, revealing that them doing an album together

Eminem isn’t against working on an album with his close friend and longtime collaborator fellow rap star 50 Cent.

Em and Fifty have been connected ever since the Slim Shady rapper executive-produced the New York-bred star’s debut 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin’. At the time, 50 Cent was signed to Eminem’s music label Shady Records. Each has contributed to the other’s projects, with Em appearing on 50 Cent’s Patiently Waiting and Don’t Push Me— two records on Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Meanwhile, 50 Cent contributed to the soundtrack for the movie 8 Mile, which Eminem starred in.

During one of Eminem’s recent interviews, he opened up about how he felt about collaborating with Fifty on a full album, revealing that them doing an album together “would be great.”

He revealed on the Sirius XM’s Whoo’s House podcast on Christmas” “I mean, I think that we just got to stop bulls- -ting and just do it.”

Eminem continued: “I would never say it’s not possible.” He and 50 Cent are already back working together musically as both collaborated on Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s new album Missionary for the song Gunz N Smoke.

In the past, Eminem and 50 Cent have done multiple songs together such as Encore, Hail Mary, Gatman and Robin, Crack a Bottle, The Re-Up, and Is This Love (‘09). The two have even joined each other on stage as 50 Cent has been on many of Eminem’s tours, including The 2010 Home & Home Tour. Alongside Eminem when he co-headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2019.

Outside of themselves, the megastars have lent their verses on different songs for other artists throughout the years. However, the two never did an entire album together. Aside from the music, Eminem and 50 have done TV together.

Eminem made a cameo appearance as White Boy Rick on 50 Cent’s show BMF in 2021.

“When Eminem found out I was directing, he committed to do it, and working together was natural,” 50 Cent told Entertainment Weekly around the time that the episode aired. “It was an honor to have him on the show and it made this episode extra special.”

Last year, 50 Cent shared that the two were working together on a modernized version of 8 Mile for TV.

“I think it should be there for his legacy, because if you don’t see… it’s important to me that they understand it,” the In Da Club rapper stated.
