Only this time, more people are seemingly questioning Lively, and siding with her co-stars, after Baldoni’s counterclaims in his lawsuit against The New York Times.

Meanwhile, Candace Owens took to her latest YouTube live to discuss the legal drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, wherein she offered her critiques for the actress. Pointing out the manipulative claims in her lawsuit, Owens openly questioned Lively’s intention to sue Baldoni, especially after her It Ends With Us promotion backfired.

Wondering about why Lively might have waited so long to accuse Baldoni, Owens questioned the intention behind her legal battle.

This was a Sinister PR move. Blake Lively then moved 11 days later to file a lawsuit. So now she has filed a lawsuit and I don’t think she ever wanted to do this. 

I think she genuinely wanted this to be a PR move and she wanted to leak it to the New York Times. She thought the public would take her side with no questions asked.

Arguing that Blake Lively simply wanted to use the complaints as a PR move to get the public opinion in her favor, especially after her It Ends With Us promotion backfired, Candace Owens asserted that the actress never actually intended to file a lawsuit.

Further, people were shell-shocked to hear Blake Lively say “grab your friends, wear your florals” during the promotional campaign for It Ends With Us. Thereafter, such light-hearted and tone-deaf promotion of the movie led the actress to face criticism and backlash. But that wasn’t the end, for people also criticized Lively for using the film promotional platform to grab people’s attention towards her brands Betty Booze and Betty Buzz.

Meanwhile, as per EW, Blake Lively also came under fire for promoting personal brands like her newly launched hair-care line, Blake Brown, off the back of the film. Further, the actress was also said to have sent out promotional emails explaining “how to make It Ends With Us-inspired cocktails using Betty Buzz”, wherein Ryan Reynolds’s beverage brand Aviation Gin appeared on the ingredient list for one recipe.
