What did you miss?
Britain’s Got Talent 2025 welcomed one of its most sickening auditions ever on Saturday, 22 February.
Known as Auzzy Blood, the cackling, face-painted figure sent a chill around the Blackpool Winter Gardens even before he’d pulled out the body corkscrews, tubes and hooks; killing the lights and taking centre stage like some kind of phantom.
After wrapping up his hellish routine, judge Bruno Tonioli dubbed it “beyond grotesque” despite going on to advocate for Auzzy’s place in the competition.
What, how and why?

The first of Auzzy’s Saw-esque instruments were a pair of huge silver corkscrews that he twisted through his nostrils and out of his mouth – much to the horror of everybody in the room.

He proceeded to approach the panel (consisting of Tonioli, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon) before producing a long translucent tube. As you might expect, Auzzy then fed it directly through his nasopharynx.
Cowell was unfortunate enough to be invited to partake in this phase of the routine, with the BGT contestant pouring a red liquid from one end of the tube to the other and into the judge’s mouth.
Next was Auzzy’s hook up the nose, which he used to attach himself to a rope before hauling his body weight to the ceiling and back down to the floor again.
“Oh it’s a yes from me! You are so beyond grotesque that it was almost like watching a new artform,” added a freaked-out Tonioli.
Providing the decisive vote that sent Auzzy through to the next round, Holden told him: “For me it was horrifically brilliant.”
How did BGT fans react on social media?

Social media platform X was jammed with excitement and revulsion in equal measure as Auzzy’s audition played out on ITV1.
“Ohh my god auzzy that was flipping mad that was hard to watch but wow that was brilliant at the same time,” wrote one fan.
“That is an absolute NO for me,” argued someone else. “I personally believe the fact you came onto a show like this and stuck hooks through your nose is morally repugnant and totally out of keeping with a family show and a potential Royal Variety act. NO.”
Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturdays on ITV1 and ITVX.
