ALAN RITCHSON LOOKS a bit different from his usual bodybuilder-esque self. The Reacher star made a post on his Instagram detailing his latest physical transformation in preparation for his role in the upcoming thriller Motor City.
The actor shared to his Instagram:
How do you completely transform when you only have a few days to transition from Reacher to your next role in period action piece extraordinaire, #MotorCity? You bring out the big guns. @thomasdelauer to help me drop weight fast. The one-of-a-kind Sandy Sokolowski for new hair. And the great Gary Archer ( teeth_by_archer ) for a less pearly set of pearly whites. And of course @katvonpire on some new character specific tats.
The actor, who also recently appeared in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, shared multiple photos in the slideshow post where he’s seen sporting a long hairdo, undergoing cosmetic dentistry, and applying bruises on his face to give the rugged look his new role seems to be calling for.
‘My goal is always to make a character as real for you as humanely possible,’ he wrote. ‘Not having days off between jobs makes it hard to go as far as I want, but I’ll get as close to unrecognisable as possible. I refuse to play myself. You’ve never experienced anything like Motor City.’
Ritchson is set to star in the film alongside actors Shailene Woodley, Pablo Schreiber, and Ben Foster. His character is John Miller, a Detroit man released from prison, ‘who unleashes a rampage of brutal vengeance on those who framed him.’
Although there aren’y many details surrounding the upcoming project yet, if Ritchson is in it, it’s most likely guaranteed to be action-packed.
