Who wouldn’t want to work with Antony Starr and Erin Moriarty!

The Boys spinoff series Gen V was received by the audience with much appreciation. The story and the characters didn’t disappoint, and just like the main story, the spinoff too, became a fan favorite. Antony Starr, who plays Homelander in The Boys also made a cameo in Gen V, much to the amazement of fans. But one actor was sad to have not gotten the chance to work with him and the rest of the cast of the Amazon Prime show.

Patrick Schwarzenegger played Golden Boy/ Luke Riordan in Gen V, a supe with pyrokinesis and superhuman strength. Unfortunately, Luke’s character died in the first season of the show. Schwarzenegger did not get the opportunity to work with Starr, who appeared in the last episode of Gen V season 1. And now, seems like the actor is lamenting this missed opportunity.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, was cast in Gen V back in May of 2022. A year later, the first season of the series was streamed on Amazon Prime in late September 2023. Schwarzenegger, who played the popular Golden Boy, a supe with superhuman strength and pyrokinesis, became an instant favorite among fans. Unfortunately, the character died on the very first episode of the show.

Recently, Patrick Schwarzenegger quote tweeted a post from the X account archivetheboys, which had posted a BTS photo of Erin Moriarty and Antony Starr. Quoting the tweet, the 30-year-old wrote “I wish I got to work with them,” lamenting the fact that he did not get the opportunity to work alongside The Boys cast.

Although the character of Golden Boy died in the very first episode of Gen V, Patrick Schwarzenegger was still a part of the series for the rest of the show. His character made frequent appearances throughout the season in the form of flashbacks and hallucinations. The character became a fan favorite and many were hoping that Gilden Boy was not really dead till the end of the season.

So when Schwarzenegger made the tweet, fans got under his mentions to show how they too wish that his character could come back, and maybe even become a member of The Seven someday. Taking to X, fans showed their appreciation for the actor as well as their love for his character in Gen V.

Gen V is currently back in action, with Season 2 already filming, and will likely premiere on Amazon Prime sometime next year.
