A former MrBeast employee in a shocking video has claimed that the YouTuber is a “fraud” and engages in “deception

He claimed many contestants in his YouTube videos are actually actors

MrBeast has recently been involved in controversy after he said he would “buy a n-word for $400’ in a resurfaced clip, and now a former disgruntled employee has branded the YouTube star as a “fraud” and “scam.”

The employee who goes under the name DogPack404 posted a video to YouTube alongside an Ask Me Anything thread on Reddit, where he accused MrBeast of being a “fraud” alongside hosting illegal lotteries.

The man claims he worked as an ideation specialist, someone who would search for viewstats and then “MrBeastifying” them. He also posted parts of an NDA which featured the MrBeast logo on Twitter in order to prove he worked there.

The employee claims MrBeast lies about his content and is not truthful to his fans, saying: “The random subscribers you see in challenges are actually never random. They’re almost always local to MrBeast, and often times friends and family of MrBeast employees, or just the employees themselves.” He added to this point on Reddit, writing: “If you live outside of North Carolina and Virginia [close to where MrBeast lives] and you’re not famous or a twin, it’s a scam. Friends and family of MrBeast employees get first dibs.”

He goes on to claim that whilst the offer contestants can win in MrBeast’s videos is real, many of those participating are either actors or friends and family. During his YouTube video, DogPack404 alleges MrBeast hosts “illegal lotteries,” saying: “During those five hours I counted 46 illegal lotteries,” claiming MrBeast would those who ordered a signed shirt could win a cash prize, but instead of awarding the prize he just increased the time limit.

A current MrBeast employee called Chucky, slammed the claims on Twitter and stated DogPack404: “Worked at the company for less than a month and wasn’t an employee for most of the videos.”

Chucky denied claims only friends, family or actors appeared in the videos, writing: “This is a wild statement that can easily be proven wrong. There are probably hundreds or thousands who have no affiliation to friends/family of Beast employees. Jimmy doesn’t know more than like a dozen people.”

As for the “illegal lotteries”, Chucky responded: “We do not fake giveaways, I have been hands-on with some of them and have personally been the person to connect winners with our accounting department to get paid.” Chucky clarified that DogPack404 was: “Only employed from March 25 and let go on April 19, 2024. He was on a 90-day trial and we ended it early” due to “erratic behaviour.”
