5 CHOSES QUE VOUS IGNOREZ SUR ROBERT PATTINSON - YouTube

While fans were thrilled by Robert Pattinson’s casting as Hermes in the film, many took to the internet to share their hilarious thoughts on what it might be like.

“He’s filming in water. 🌊” a fan wrote.

Hermes was known to be quite the swift traveler, both on land and sea. So, as this fan suggests, will they be filming Robert Pattinson’s Hermes traveling through water as well? Poor guy might have to be underwater in a Speedo the whole time!

“We’re never getting Batman Part 2 😔😔 ” pointed another.

Given how the shoot of The Batman 2 has been delayed time and again, it’s safe to say Pattinson won’t be joining production anytime soon, since he’s now busy filming a certain Greek mythological epic.

As this fan points out, let’s hope Robert Pattinson didn’t believe the rumors that he was going to play a Cyclops – a one-eyed giant in Nolan’s The Odyssey, and show up to set prepared and looking like the character. Because that sure would be embarrassing!

“Christopher Nolan could do the funniest thing in history by having him carry around a birkin,” a fan joked.

Imagine if Christopher Nolan told Robert Pattinson he’d be playing Hermes, the Greek messenger, and then made him carry a Hermès bag on set instead. That would surely be the worst practical joke ever!

“2 minutes on screen xd,” commented another.

Considering how big the cast of The Odyssey is, this fan seems pretty convinced that Pattinson’s role as Hermes might amount to just two minutes of screen time. Sounds like a quick shoot for the actor!

The rumors of Robert Pattinson playing Hermes in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey have certainly left fans curious and excited, eager to see what the character will be like in the film. The Odyssey is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2026, distributed by Universal Pictures.
