There are eight episodes in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2, which is the same as the first season. The episode lengths are all around one hour long each, with the premiere and the last two episodes reaching one hour and 15 minutes. This takes up a good chunk of the planned 50-hours of storytelling for this story which the showrunners previously announced.
