Harry and Meghan Markle make a serious mistake that looks like a sentence: ‘They set out to conquer America, but no one here found them interesting’

Their latest Netflix documentary has attracted criticism.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Plan to Conquer America

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recently released Netlifx documentary, ‘Polo’, has failed to impress fans and pundits.

The documentary focuses on the elite global sport, but it has so far failed to make the top 10 list in Britain or worldwide.

As a result marketing expert Tony Case wonders if the documentary will end up being a “colossal bomb.”

“They set out to conquer America, but nobody here, it turned out, found them or what they’re peddling to be particularly compelling,” he told the Daily Beast.

He isn’t the only person to slam the documentary, with Eric Schiffer, chair of Reputation Management Consultants telling Newsweek: “It’s a pompous portrayal of privilege posing as a documentary.”

All eyes will now shift to Meghan’s cooking show

The failure of ‘Polo’ has critics shifting their focus to Meghan’s upcoming cooking show which is set to be released in 2025.

The show will be tied to her American Riviera Orchard label, and the Express has warned that it “may not see the light of day.”

While filming for the show wrapped up in the summer, few details have been shared when it comes to its title or possible release date.

Given the Sussexes’ lucrative Netflix deal comes to an end in 2025, Netflix sources are wondering whether the show should even be released given the underwhelming returns for ‘Polo’.

“There won’t be another deal. There may be one-offs, but that’s it,” a source told the Mail, adding that Meghan’s project is only being shared with a “tiny audience of executives in the US.”

Another source added: “It’s make or break. People say Netflix are exhausted.”
