Stranger Things aficionados are buzzing with theories about the enigma wrapped in one of season five’s veiled titles, following leaks that hit the internet earlier this year.

Netflix set tongues wagging on Wednesday, November 6, by dropping a teaser trailer that unveiled the names of the upcoming final eight episodes.

The titles revealed are: The Crawl, The Vanishing Of [Omitted], The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, Shock Jock, Escape From Camazotz, The Bridge, and The Rightside Up.

The conspicuous absence of a name from the second episode title has fans in a frenzy, trying to deduce which character might fall prey to the sinister Upside Down next.

But those who have been diligently hunting for Stranger Things hints since the fourth season’s 2022 release might have already pieced together the puzzle months in advance, reports the Mirror.

A popular theory among several devotees is that Holly Wheeler (played by twins Anniston and Tinsley Price), Mike Wheeler’s (Finn Wolfhard) little sister, is the individual in question.

With expectations for Holly to play a bigger part in the new season, Nell Fisher is slated to take over the role.

The consensus among viewers is so strong that one die-hard fan labeled the obscured title as “kinda silly” on a recent Reddit thread.

They pointed out, “It’s pretty obvious based on the BtS content already released,” and scoffed at the attempt to conceal it, saying, “I find it kinda laughable that they blurred it in the first place.”
