Prince William and Prince Harry have not been on good terms in years. The two brothers, who were once close and always understood each other due to their different and difficult upbringing, reportedly no longer speak. Drama between Harry and William started shortly after Harry began dating his now-wife Meghan Markle, and things have not improved even long after Harry and Meghan left the royal family.
Now, there are rumors that one of William’s future moves could be the “iciest” thing he’s ever done to his brother.

Prince William could snub Prince Harry by not inviting him to William’s coronation
William is first in line for the throne; he is Harry’s older brother and the first child of King Charles. King Charles, 75, is expected to rule for quite some time, though he did have the royals and public concerned earlier this year when he announced his cancer diagnosis. Although Charles has fully returned to royal duties and appears to be in better health, people couldn’t help but picture what William’s coronation might look like. And one expert thinks he might snub Prince Harry and his family altogether.
According to Express, sources have suggested that William might opt to not invite Harry because of the massive feud between the two brothers. Those close to William told The Times that Harry has been “outrageously disloyal” to William and the family. “The conclusion is they’ve made money from trashing his family,” one source said.
Harry and William’s tensions has been building for years, and it seems that no contact has been the easiest way for the brothers to move forward. It’s been suggested that William and Harry have not spoken since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.
Prince William and Prince Harry might never reconcile
There was a time when neither brother could imagine life without the other, but with everything that has unfolded between 2018 and today, it has become hard to imagine a world where Harry and William are close again. Even prior to 2022, it seemed the brothers only spoke when they had to. Once Harry left the family, there were few chances for them to reconcile.
It’s hard to imagine things will change after William becomes king. There have been a number of events over the last couple of years that could have brought on a reconciliation, and although the queen’s funeral gave the brothers a chance to put aside their differences, it was not a long-lasting break from the strain. It seems that their best bet at growing closer could be if their children reconnect down the road.
